Was PM Modi's security lapse incident scripted in 2020? 'Singhu protest sympathisers'

An animated video has surfaced which shows similarities between the recent 'security breach' incident that stalled Prime Narendra Modi's visit to Ferozepur in Punjab and an 'ambush' planned to 'gherao' PM Modi. The animated video which was released by 'Singhu protests sympathisers' in 2020 shows that PM Modi coming and sitting in his car. As the PM's car moves ahead the video shows that farmers driving their tractors gheraoing PM Modi.

"Ministry of Home Affairs(MHA) has constituted a committee to enquire into the serious lapses in the security arrangements during Hon'ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi's visit to Ferozepur, Punjab on 05.01.2022, which led to the exposure of the VVIP to grave security risk," a spokesperson tweeted.

The animated video in question shows exact similarities between the February 5 incident which left PM Modi stranded on the flyover due to a blockade by protesters in Punjab. The Prime Minister had to return from poll-bound Punjab without attending any event, including a rally in Ferozepur.

It may be noted that thousands of farmers were protesting against three farm laws passed by the Modi government in September 2020 at the Singhu border forover a year. The farmers called off the protest after the laws were repealed in Parliament in December 2021.
